As you might know already, we have two new polar bears (maremma sheep dogs) here on the farm.  Elvis & Lola. They are total darlings. Despite their outlandlishly large paws, they are only 12 weeks old.  They live and sleep with the goats and will, hopefully, allow us to pasture the goats up the mountain all summer long. I spent most of last summer awake all night, ears perked for coyotes. Ive been sleeping better already. But, in the meantime, we have a lot of training to do. We think you’d really like them. As you can see, they obviously love luke. The top photo is from this morning. We climbed the mountain, which remains unnamed, and boy were they tired puppies.
